Meet Jill
When Jill was nine she was her dad Paul’s constant sidekick on his trips to the Hartford Regional Market. At 12 she was given her first job in the family business—packing worms and cleaning out the bait tank. Today Jill oversees inventory in the store, making sure the shelves are packed with everything her customers need. While that may be her primary role at Paul’s and Sandy’s, she sees her most important role as putting smiles on faces and making sure that her customers feel welcome and well cared for.
Jill’s son Steven lives out of state but remains actively involved in purchasing for the business and marketing Pumpkintown U.S.A. Her daughter Rachel worked at Pumpkintown in its early years.
Jill loves spending time in her gardens on her days off. And when the work is done, and the days are warm you’ll find her packing up and heading to the beach for some quality down time!
