Winter is for the birds here at Paul’s. We carry a huge assortment of seed from companies such as Lyric, Wild Delight, New England Bird Food Co. and C & S Suet. As well as an incredible assortment of bird feeders from Droll Yankee, Audubon, Duncraft, Absolute and Perky Pet.
When it comes to bad weather, we have you covered there too! We sell snow shovels, sand, salt, window scrapers, and everything else you need to keep the nasty New England weather at bay.
It may be cold and nasty outside, but our greenhouse is full of fresh green houseplants. From Cactus to blooming Cyclamen and everything in between. Houseplants help to remove toxins from the air and can always put a smile on your face.
When it comes to Christmas, no-one can beat the selection at Paul’s and Sandy’s. In our Christmas shop we carry a wide variety of items including candles and candle rings, decorative house flags and mini flags, over 200 styles of picks, pine cones, and berries. We also carry supplies for your Christmas villages, like buffalo snow and snow flurries. We have a wide assortment of window candles, both electric and battery operated, extension cords, timers and accessories. As well as light sets in all sizes and lengths. We even carry the white strand lights to restring the popular light deer and figures.
Our selection of artificial wreaths and garlands are unmatched! They look so realistic that you will have to feel them to tell the difference. We carry over 12 styles of artificial wreaths with or without bows and 20 styles of artificial garlands. These are quality items, we hand pick our artificial greens and let me tell you, they have really come a long way in the past few years. They may seem a little pricey at first but you can use them year after year and they still look great! Besides, you won’t be vacuuming up needles for the next year!
But if you are a bit more traditional and would settle for nothing but the real thing, we sure can help you out there too. We carry 9 sizes of live Canadian balsam wreaths ranging from 10” all the way up to 4 feet, sold with or without a bow. We also sell fancy mixed green wreaths and straight specialty greens wreaths like juniper and noble fir. And don’t forget, we can custom decorate any wreath for you.
We don’t just carry wreaths but we also sell gorgeous swags, kissing balls and or course, garland…….over a half dozen different kinds.
This is the time of the year that our nursery turns into a forest. We carry the absolute largest selection of live and cut trees in the area. Our trees come directly from Canada and hold their needles longer than any tree cut locally, and the aroma is fantastic.
I also need to mention our selection of Poinsettias this year. They are absolutely spectacular! We have them in many different colors and pot sizes. Plus we add decorative foil to really dress up the pot. They make great hostess gifts, so swing by on your way to your holiday party and pick one up, I am sure it will be a huge hit!
You can even give someone the gift of spring with one of our gift certificates. Which incidentally, we put on sale for 20% off in about mid-December. It makes a great gift and we even have a few customers that buy them for themselves, to purchase bulk material or shrubs in the spring. A time of the year when discounts are unheard of!
